Our anti quota discrimination student movement will continue: Nahid Islam
At least 50 agitating students were injured in the attack by Chhatra League on Dhaka University campus.
Regarding this attack, Nahid Islam, one of the coordinators of the anti-quota discrimination student movement, said that the Chhatra League is bringing external terrorists to the DU campus to suppress the movement.
Quota reform activists gathered in front of Raju Bhaskarya this afternoon to demand withdrawal of Prime Minister’s statement on quota yesterday.
Later, the Chhatra League attacked them. At least 50 people injured in this attack are being treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Talking to reporters at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the afternoon, Nahid Islam said that about 150 of our leaders and activists were injured. Chhatra League attacked us with external terrorists to suppress our movement.
He also said that our movement will continue. After completing the medical treatment, we will take out a march in the campus today to protest the attack of the Chhatra League.
