Maldives President Dr. Police have arrested Fatima Shamnaz Ali Salem, Minister of State for Environment, on charges of ‘black magic’ on Mohammad Muizu. According to local dignitaries, the South China Monning Post said on Thursday.Police in the country said two others, including the Minister of State for Environment, Climate Change and Energy, Fatima Shamnaz Ali Saleem, were arrested from the capital Male last Sunday.Police also said he was sent to custody for a week for questioning. However, the details were not given.According to a report by the local media, The San said, President Dr. Shamnaz has been arrested on charges of black magic on Mohammad Muizu.However, the police did not admit the matter, nor deny it.According to the law of the Muslim majority Maldives, magic does not fall into criminal offenses.
