Government shall not interfere in the work of Anti-Corruption Commission: Obaidul Quader

General Secretary of Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has commented that the government will not interfere in any investigation of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).He said that the Prime Minister’s position against corruption is zero tolerance. He is adamant about this. The government has zero tolerance for corruption.ACC has the right to investigate corruption. Here the government will not interfere with their freedom.The minister said this at the inauguration ceremony of BRTC shuttle bus service at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Wednesday morning (June 26) to facilitate the travel of passengers returning from abroad.Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Muhammad Farooq Khan was present at this time.In response to a question, Obaidul Quader said that there is corruption all over the world. Corruption is not an isolated incident in Bangladesh.Corruption is not only done by bureaucrats and politicians. When we talk we should also look at ourselves in the mirror that I am a politician speaking against corruption, but we also have corruption.Earlier, Minister of Road Transport and Bridges inaugurated the BRTC airport shuttle service bus by Obaidul Quader.At this time, the chairman of BRTC said about the launch of the shuttle bus service. Tajul Islam said, many remittance fighters come from abroad and face problems with luggage.They don’t get a car. The bus service provided by us can carry 40-50 kg luggage here. These vehicles will remain at the airport.Chairman of BRTC said, the biggest thing is that we are now preparing these cars in our own factory. In the near future we will no longer need to import cars.
