P.M Sheikh Hasina is going to Tungipara of Gopalganj on a two-day visit

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to Tungipara of Gopalganj on a two-day visit on Friday (July 5) and Saturday (July 6) tomorrow. During this visit, she will pay tribute to the father of the nation, inaugurate Bangabandhu Corner, exchange greetings with leaders and activists, and participate in various programs.

On the occasion of her arrival, all preparations to pay respects at Bangandhu’s tomb have been completed. Security has been increased in the district. The Prime Minister’s visit schedule was confirmed in a statement signed by Prime Minister’s Protocol Officer-1 Mohammad Shamim Musfiq. It is said in the tour schedule that it is an official visit.

According to the tour schedule, the Prime Minister will travel to the Mawa end of the Padma Bridge from Gana Bhavan at 3 pm on Friday. There she will participate in the rally to mark the completion of the Padma Bridge project. After the rally at 5 pm, Sudhi will leave for Tungipara. Reaching Tungipara at 6:45 in the evening, she will pay tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s tomb with flowers. Later will participate in Fatehapath and special prayer. After paying tribute, she will spend the night at his home in Tungipara.

 

On the second day of the tour, on Saturday (July 6) at 11 am, she will inaugurate the Bangabandhu Corner at Gimadanga-Tungipara Model Government Primary School and unveil the cover of the album titled ‘Eso Bangabandhu Jani’. At 12 noon, she will visit Tungipara Multipurpose Municipal Super Market and exchange greetings with leaders and workers at Tungipara Upazila Awami League office.

Later, after prayer and mid-day break at her residence, she will participate in Fateha reading and prayer at the tomb of the Father of the Nation at 3:30 pm. Travel from Tungipara to Dhaka by road at 4 pm.

On the occasion of the arrival of the Prime Minister, the work of beautifying the Father of the Nation’s tomb complex including washing has been completed. On behalf of Awami League, banners and festoons have been hung on various roads welcoming the Prime Minister.

Mayor of Tungipara Municipality Sheikh Tozammel Haque Tutul said that every year after Eid, the Prime Minister pays homage to Bangabandhu’s tomb and visits Fatehapath and grave. This time she could not come after Eid, so she is coming on this visit.

General Secretary of Tungipara Upazila Awami League. Babul Sheikh said that all the preparations of Upazila Awami League have been completed for the Prime Minister’s two-day visit. A preparatory meeting has been held with the leaders and activists of all organizations including Awami League. It is hoped that this visit will end smoothly.

Deputy Commissioner of Gopalganj Kazi Mahbubul Alam said that a security coordination meeting was held with law and order forces around the Prime Minister’s visit. All preparations have already been completed.
