Later there were rumours, head coach Chandika Hathurusinghe decided not to keep Taskin in the playing XI. “It is true that he (Taskin) missed the team bus and joined the team later,” the official told Cricbuzz. But only the coach can tell why he didn’t play. Only the head coach can answer whether Taskin was in the plan against India or not. Taskin was on the field during the national anthem.
